you buy a 360, complain about the ps3 which you can’t afford and stick to SEMI NEXT GEN games.. But then, you pay lots for LIVE, WLAN, Movie feature add-on, shitty and expensive HDD and of course that new Xbox 720 coming in about 2 years, and not to forget a new 360 from time to time since:

1. your old one breaks all the time
2. they keep upgrading their system, so if your hardcore, you need to pay the price.

Man i live in Norway and the PS3 here is twice as expensive as in USA. You pay for quality. The 360 games coming out this year looks so shitty I don’t even know where to start. I hate the 360, slowing down next gen developing.. I’m glad that it exists PS3 exclusives so I can play games that people with NO MONEY and a SHITTY CONSOLE can’t play..

Funny fact: People who buys a 360 is so poor, that they buy one so they can play pirated games… I LOL at every 360 buyer out there, you think you bought something good, but in fa ct you are just sucking MS dick and they will dump you like the dirty whore you are when they release the 720…

Free Radical makes games that range from above par to fantastic depending on who you ask. There track record shows that they develop for sony first. time splitters 1-3 and second sight were great, but not optimized stellar for GCN/xbox. this ties into the next point.

Console exclusives are better and cheaper (not more efficient per say) than cross platform development. If you want quality you devote your time to 1 product. I appluad FR for having enough balls to do this and I feel that they should be especially thanked for the longer console dev time. They want quality.

PS3 has trade off when compared to the 360 the most abhorrent one is the split RAM apperature and then (in a less crippling way) the cell processor.
it has some better effects than 360 although it can’t reach as high in the polygon/texturing department without a few frame dips, those weaknesses are also its strengths.
HDD, Cell,Balanced CPU/GPU apperatures, higher storage capacity (blu-ray…also means lower transfer speed…madden needs to run off dvd’s…)

360 can do a shit ton of cool shit, and at times it can approach things that the PS3 can’t do for a few years. When it comes down to it (I refuse to buy a 360…my friends have it and I can just play theirs) the 360 has developers and therefore games. The 360 won’t be going away anytime soon.
Microsoft played it too safe with the hardware on the 360 and its a year older than the PS3.

The PS3 is fancier and more elegant. It has a shit ton of power and a lil bit o’ magic. The 360 has a shit ton of power and a shit ton of confidence.

Both have their place in the industry. Both are worth a purchase. Ima go with a PS3 personally because I like the ideas behind it better and everyone I know has a 360 (I’m gunna get a memory card soon enough…I know I’m such a loser)

The PS3 is a better platform for HAZE because based on what FR has told us through press releases it just fits more in line with the concepts they want to get down (HDR…so much HDR)

Developing on 360 is slick as shit, PS3 requires more effort to learn. So if I was a developer I would do test development on PS3 and then release a cross platform later when I understand the trade off for development on each console…it just makes sense.

Haze won’t be the appitemy of video games but I have no question that it will fall into my library of games.

As for how the PS3 is superior, well, it has a timid little 256 video ram, while the 360 has 512mb. The only real advantage is the built in hard drive, which is the only useful thing in the PS3.(what about ,blu-ray,wi-fi)

Both the PS3 and 360 have 512MB to work WITH PS3 256mb for CPU AT 3.2 ghz & 256mb of VIDEO ram.The 360 CANT REPEAT CANT USE ALL 512mb AS VIDEO ram because what ram would the game have to run in YOU DH !!! Thats what happens when pre pubecent kids get to post on the net!! Also the VIDEO ram on both systems run at 700mhz not 550(THATS THE RSX SPEED) as stated above but that means the memory for the 360 cpu also runs at 700mhz A LOT SLOWER THAN 3.2GHZ for the PS3 CELL’S ram.
